These workshops offer powerful teachings for all women wishing to reclaim the understanding and practice of menstrual cycle awareness and the opportunities for spiritual awakening available to us at each and every menstruation.
Both workshops go hand in hand with each other but can be taken as stand alone and either first. One offers a deepening understanding of the rhythms observed during a woman’s monthly cycle, the other focuses solely on the states of consciousness which can be observed and practised during menstruation.
I am offering these two Women’s Wellbeing Workshops this year in joyful collaboration with Lucinda Pimlott taking place near Helston in Cornwall.
‘Menstrual Cycle as Women’s Medicine’ (Workshop Completed)
Sunday 11th June 2017, 10am – 5pm
Roselidden Farm near Helston, Cornwall
(New 2018 Dates TBA)
By recognising that the rhythms of the Earth govern us, whether we are aware of them or not, we can make great strides in our ability to manage our energy levels. The most tangible way that a woman can come into harmony with the rhythms of the Earth is by observing her own individual menstrual cycle (or moon cycle if no longer bleeding). When we experience and feel the changes in our bodies consciously at each menstrual cycle we can begin to track the ‘Inner Seasons’ of own unique rhythm.
‘Menustration as Women’s Spiritual Practice’ (Workshop Completed)
Sunday 10th December 2018, 10am – 5pm
Porthallow Village Hall, near Helston, Cornwall
(New 2018 Dates TBA)
Each month at menstruation we hold an expanded consciousness beyond our everyday lives. Premenstrually we become more permeable in order to enter this sacred space. This second half of our menstrual cycle (or moon cycle if we are no longer bleeding) is known as the via negativa or feminine arc of our cycle. It is where we learn to ‘be’ with the undoing of our inner confidence – the fall- so that we can build our psychological strength. It is here that we meet our ‘inner critic’ and our shadow material begins to emerge.
GO! It’s so informative and rich with the basics for women of understanding who, what and how we are. I hope this can be introduced to schools.
